KoKo Black Chocolate

Chocolate Mousse

While Koko Black’s famous chocolate mousse is made using a secret recipe, this is a great alternative to enjoy at home.

Serves 4

Ingredients

375g milk chocolate
70g chopped hazelnuts
3 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
500g full cream

Method

Melt chocolate in a bain-marie.

While chocolate is melting, in a bowl beat the egg yolks and two eggs with a whisk or electric beater until white and thick. Add the cream and easily fold in melted chocolate and hazelnuts.

Spoon into individual dishes and refrigerate for two hours minimum before serving.

To serve, add garnish of chocolate sprinkles or grated chocolate with dollop of freshly whipped cream.
