It wouldn't be Christmas without...

Published on 01 November 2018

This year, Canberra Centre invites you to celebrate Christmas with the wider community, by way of festive events, workshops and live entertainment. In addition, stop by Santa’s Enchanted Garden for a photo, make the most of our extended opening hours, and have your gifts wrapped for a gold coin donation.

Here’s a rundown of what’s happening at Canberra Centre in the lead-up to Christmas.

Santa’s Enchanted Garden

Santa arrives in-centre on November 10, taking up residence in his brand-new Enchanted Garden. Father Christmas will be available for photos daily up until Christmas Eve...skip the queue and pre-book your ticket online.

Christmas festivities

We’ll be hosting two not-to-be-missed events. First up, the Christmas Table Setting Workshop, hosted by top3 by design’s Terri Winter, will school participants in how to piece together the perfect Christmas table setting for lunch or dinner.

November 24, 11am-12pm.

The Champagne Dame Masterclass returns in 2018. This event promises to be a decadent sensory experience that explores the power of scent, the link between Champagne and perfume, and its creation.

December 2, 11am-1pm.

Tickets and booking available soon.

Pop-up entertainment

To add to the Christmas ambiance, we’ve organised a series of pop-up entertainment, including a string quartet and violin and cello duo, to run throughout the month of December.
